In previous articles, we discussed the basics of CRM analytics, how to build dashboards with CRM analytics and demonstrated a sample dashboard built within the platform. Here, we can see a sample Lead dashboard created to get interactive views of the business data.
The dashboard basically contains four widgets representing four different information out of a single Leads dataset.
- Map view of Lead distribution across various US States
The chart type chosen is ‘Map’. The Map is configured to display only the US states. The states with more number of leads is dark colored and those with less number of leads is dark colored. You can apply conditional formatting to states so that each state will be displayed in a different color.

- Number of leads by lead sources
A bar chart is chosen to display the lead data with respect to the lead sources. Conditional formatting rules are applied in such a way that each lead source represented by a bar will be of a unique color.

- Number of leads by lead status
This dashboard component displays the number of leads under different lead status. The chart type chosen is column chart.

- Lead distribution with lead status
This is a bar chart, each bar representing a lead owner with the number of leads owned by him. Each bar is segmented to display the number of leads under different status. Conditional formatting rules are applied to these segments so that each lead status bears a different color.

The final dashboard will look like the one shown below.
